Instructions and Help about Va Enrollment Verification Form

Music, my name is Eloy Thomas. I served in the United States Marine Corps from 2008 to 2012 and was deployed twice to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. During my second semester, I started as a work-study at the Veterans Affairs Office. Just recently, I was blessed by this University to be offered a veteran coordinator position for the office. Personally, I find it to be a rewarding position because I'm able to assist veterans and veteran dependents with their college career. When it comes to benefits, I know from my own experience that not much was told to me when I got out, so I'm now able to share my experience with anyone coming in. I was able to develop a really good professional rapport with the professors here at Texas A&M Kingsville. The classes were small, allowing them to devote a lot of attention to me. This encouraged me to continue my education and training because, much like education, learning is a never-ending journey. There's always something new to learn and something to share. Don't be afraid to learn and take advantage of the numerous opportunities available to you, opportunities that you've definitely earned by serving your country. So, work with us and make the best of it.
